Mr. Sherwin was born and educated in England, graduating with a law degree from the University of Birmingham (with honours), in 1973. After admission to the California Bar in 1976, he joined Mr. Fehn's firm as an associate and they have practiced law together ever since.
Mr. Sherwin's practice has been almost exclusively in civil litigation, in both state and federal courts, and in securities industry arbitrations. Mr. Sherwin has extensive experience in the litigation of complex investment loss cases at all levels of trial and appeal. He has also litigated securities industry regulatory and enforcement cases at the administrative, trial and appellate levels.
Mr. Sherwin is licenced to practice before all California state courts, all federal District Courts in California, the federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
